"Breaking Dawn Pt1"

Kimberly and I went to see "Breaking Dawn Pt1" today. Even though the book wasn't one of my favorites of the book series I was looking forward to how they would portray some of the scenes. It didn't take long for 'Jacob's' shirt to come off, it was off a few seconds into the movie right after it started and never to be taken off again :( The wedding scene was beautiful and I loved the wedding dress, everything and everyone was really beautiful. I was most interested in seeing the pregnancy and they did that really well, but it was really weird seeing 'Bella' so pale and skinny. The wolf fighting scene was pretty cool, such a lot of great effects in this movie. I was looking forward in also seeing imprinting scene between 'Jacob' and 'Nessie' ('Bella and Edward's daughter), now 'Jacob' can stop his whining lol. The birth scene was really gross it felt like I was watching a horror film. But after the baby was born it was really sweet to see 'Edward' with 'Nessie' I hope there are more cute family moments in pt2. It was interesting to watch 'Bella' transformation, I was able to understand more about the transformation process and how it's done. The only thing that I wish was in the movie was the joking around between 'Rosalie' and 'Jacob', it was my favorite part of the book. I like the movie it was really different from the other movies. It had a good mixture of humor and drama but mostly it had drama 'Alice', 'Charlie', 'Emmett', and 'Jessica' really make me laugh. I am looking forward to part 2 to see how everyone's relationships change after 'Jacob' imprinted on 'Nessie' and seeing the other vampires. If I spoiled the movie for you sorry, but you should good see it anyways my blogs of movies don't due them justice.

Horseback Riding

So, after a month of trying to to pick a day for Lauren and I to go horseback riding we finally got to go today. We tried to pick a day in September for our birthday's, but it didn't quite work out. If I haven't said before Lauren is a good friend of mine and we have known each other since preschool. Our birthday's are 10 days apart and I am the oldest, so we always try and do something fun that we have never done before or something that we haven't done in a while. We went to a place in Burbank and it was really nice. They had a lot of horses to choose from and we were given horse based on our experience, I have has some experience but not much. I was so calm and relaxed during the ride which made my horse calm and relaxed, we made a good pair. I was surprised at how well he knew the trail and knew where to go, he would get mad every time I would try to direct him but he treated me well. The trail was so nice we went only for an hour so we didn't get to see much but it was really pretty. I am really glad we went today, it was such a nice day to go. I had such a good time and will definitely be going back, it is such a great workout I could feel my abs working and now my butt really hurts lol. I have pictures of course sorry if their blurry, but I was riding a big horse at the time. Our tour guide was also nice enough to take some pictures of us:

Disneyland 2011

Last Thursday Kimberly and I went to Disneyland and of course I was really excited to go. I wanted to go in October because I have never been there for Halloween and I wanted to see all the decorations. For a Thursday I was surprised at how many people were there, it was almost like we were there on a weekend. We didn't stay in California Adventure for very long, their were a lot of people and long waits for rides. We went on the new Little Mermaid ride, I thought it was OK but it was cute. While we were there we had to go on Toy Story Mania, it is one of my favorites and so worth the wait no matter how long the line is. It was so much fun even though I didn't win. In Disneyland we walked around going on our favorite rides ( the same rides we always go on), stopping ever now and then to rest, it was hot that day. I was really upset that Pirates of the Caribbean was closed, but I stayed strong. The Haunted Mansion looked cute decked out in the Nightmare Before Christmas decorations. All the popular rides were 35 minute wait or more so Kimberly and I got fast passes for Indiana Jones and Space Mountain, my other two favorites. Space Mountain was really cool, for Halloween they add monsters to the ride to pop out anywhere. It was really scary I always scream bloody murder. I repaid Kimberly by beating her at the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster by kicking her butt. She had no idea how it happened. We had a good time as always and when we left we were tired. Till next time Disneyland :)

Birthday Dinner

On the 23rd I had my birthday dinner with my church friends. I decided to go to the California Grill this time and it was really good; I go there a lot. My friends and I arrived at the same time so we weren't waiting around for anyone. We had a good time talking and eating and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. We talked some more after finishing dinner and then we decide that it was time for cake. My mom and I ordered the cake from Wal Mart and it turned out better then I had imagined and it tasted even better too :) After we finished some of us went to Jacob's house to play some games. I had such a great dinner and I was happy that some of my friends were able to celebrate my birthday with me.

Happy Birthday to Me!!

On the 20th I officially turned 26 years old.  When I woke up in the morning I found the house decorated. Lisa and Rachel took me out for lunch and some mini-golf. I have not been mini-golfing in a long time and was really excited to go. I did a good job, I ended up winning the game :) After we finished our game we went into the arcade to play some games. After spending 100 tokens on games I wanted to go home to spend some time by  myself and to relax. When my mom and Betty got home they took me to my favorite restaurant Clearman's North Woods, yummy it was so good. When we got home I opened a gift. I didn't ask for much this year since we went to Oregon, I counted that as one of my gifts. My mom got me the complete second season of Glee. Throughout the day my friends and family were sending my happy birthday texts. It was so nice for them to remember. I had such a great day, and it was a really nice birthday :)

Rachel tried to redeem herself from the last time we played Air Hockey but I ended up winning. Maybe next time :)The Birthday Girl had a great day :)My birthday muffin

Santa Barbara

On the 17th Katie and I went to Santa Barbara for the day for our birthdays. This is the first time I have been to Santa Barbara and it was so beautiful. We decided to go the Botanic Gardens and the Santa Barbara Mission. The drive up to the gardens was beautiful with some great views. I wish that I was able to get a picture but I was unable to. When we got to the Gardens it was not what we were expecting. Walking around seemed like we were taking a hike in the woods. Don't get me wrong, it was still pretty, just not what we were expecting. We got old with it fast and we decided to go. The Mission was not that exciting either, not much to see but at least I was able to get some good pictures of flowers. We left and we found a park so that we could eat lunch and then we decided to go home. It was an OK day, but I was glad that I was able to spend the day with Katie.

Sorry

I wanted to send out a little apology, for the past week and a half we have been without our internet.  Of course without that I have not been able to update my blog as much as I have wanted.  Today though I'm back :),  Lisa has so graciously let me use her internet so I can get caught up.  Pictures will have to be added at a later date, but at least I'll be caught up.  Thank you for the understanding.

Family Reunion 2011

Over Labor Day weekend my mom and I went to Oregon for a family reunion. We made the decision to fly instead of drive this time, which was OK for me, I hate driving to Oregon. To drive would take us about 2 days; flying would take us two hours with a two hour drive to my Uncle Joe's house. We left on Friday and when we got into Portland we met my Cousin Casey and his family for lunch and we drove to my Uncles house together. The main family event took place on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday only a little family showed up and I spent the day catching up with them. I was able to get some good pictures with my Aunt and Uncles Saturday and Sunday. Saturday for me was the most fun. Sunday more people showed but mostly it was from my Uncle Benny's side. Unfortunately, some family members were not able to make it but there was still approx 70 people there on Sunday, so I was able to hear some stories about my Grandma. I was only 6 when she died so I don't have many memories of her. It was this day we took family pictures and I got some great ones. It will be picture overload on this post. I am going to try to name people and if I don't spell your names right please forgive me, I'm only 14 and a half lol!! (inside joke). I had such an amazing time and it was so nice to spend some time with my family, I didn't want to leave. I wish I was closer to them so that I could see them more often. I miss them so much.
