I hope everyone is having a great December, I know I am :) In November, a cat was abandoned near my house and my mom and I decided to take her in and we made it official in the beginning of December by buying her a collar. Her name is Maggie, she is such a great cat and loves me and my mom very much and vice versa. This Christmas we decided to do something different and we bought a really pretty Christmas plant, not sure what it's called though and we still have more decorating to do. My mom got me a 24 Chocolate Days Til Christmas, it's so yummy and anything with chocolate makes it even more better. Yesterday I went to the Temple with my church for our FHE to see the lights. Every year the church members go and decorate the Temple in lights and it was so beautiful, they did an amazing job. I love always going to the Temple and feeling the Spirit that is there on the grounds. For Christmas this year my mom and I are going to Lyle and Rose's again, I am always so thankful that they invited us into their family. May everyone have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year and may we remember the true meaning of Christmas :)
Christmas morning: My mom and I tried to keep it simple this Christmas because of our trip back in September. I surprised my mom with a picture frame with pictures that my Aunt sent of of Matt's recent visit to England in May, and I got her a few a her favorite cookies. I was very happy with the way the frame turned out and she was very surprised and happy. I did very well myself :) I got a Hunger Games 2013 Calendar, Pretty Little Liars season 2, and other goodies such as chocolate from my mom. From Betty, my mom gave her a list I had made up and she got me a few things off of it,
The Snow White and the Huntsman DVD,
Insurgent (the second book following
Divergent book) and a few other goodies from my mom's friends. I am a very lucky girl and feel very blessed. Maggie got some stuff too, my mom and I got her her own food bowl and Betty got her some Advantage flee stuff. Maggie is becoming more comfortable in the house and is now beginning to lay and sleep on our beds, this is becoming more her home every day.
